Following the official notification from the Government of Brazil that all internal procedures for its entry into force have been completed, the Host Country Agreement for COP 30 entered into force on 12 September 2025. 

As per the conclusion of the Subsidiary Body for Implementation at SB 62 in June 2025 (FCCC/SBI/2025/11), in order to ensure transparency, the secretariat is requested to publish the legal text of the host country agreement on the UNFCCC website.
