How to Get There
Arriving by plane
From Cologne/Bonn airport:
By bus: To get to Bonn by public transport, take the SB 60 bus which leaves from the airport terminal to Bonn central station every 30 minutes on weekdays and every 30 to 60 minutes on weekends. The 25 km bus journey from the airport takes about 30 minutes. The stop for the bus to Bonn is located at Terminal 1. The price of a one-way bus ticket to Bonn is around 8 Euros. Tickets may be purchased from the driver or at a ticket machine. From Bonn Central Station, the UN Campus/WCCB can be reached by bus or by subway (see directions below).
By taxi: Taxis are readily available. A one-way journey to the city centre, the UN Campus/WCCB costs between 45 and 50 EUR.

From Düsseldorf airport:
Take the sky train to the station "Duesseldorf Flughafen" (about 5 minutes). From there, direct trains to Bonn Central Station leave every hour. For train departures, check the website of the German railway. Type in "Duesseldorf Flughafen" as the departure station and "Bonn Hbf" (Bonn Central Station) as the arrival station. From Bonn Central Station, the UN Campus can be reached by bus or by subway (see directions below). A second-class train ticket costs around 15-20 EUR one way.

From Frankfurt airport:
Go to the Frankfurt airport long-distance train station by following the signs to "Frankfurt Flughafen Fernbahnhof". This station is located at the AIRail Terminal next to Terminal 1. Trains depart from platforms 4 to 7. You can travel either by high-speed Inter City Express (ICE) train to Bonn/Siegburg or by direct train to Bonn Hbf (Central Station). Both trains leave from the Frankfurt airport long-distance train station two to three times every hour between 5 a.m. and 9 p.m. For exact train departures, check the website of the German railway.
ICE to Siegburg/Bonn: The high-speed train journey takes 40 minutes, and trains leave at least once an hour. A second-class ticket costs around 60 Euros one way and can sometimes be booked together with your flight. From Siegburg/Bonn, you can reach Bonn city centre or the UN Campus both by taxi (20-30 mins) or subway line 66 (30-40 mins). A one-way journey by taxi from Siegburg to Bonn costs approximately 30 EUR.
Direct train to Bonn Central Station: The Intercity (IC)/Eurocity (EC) train, also leaving from the Frankfurt long-distance train station, goes directly to Bonn Central Station. Travel time is between 1.5 and 2 hours. From Bonn Central Station, the UN Campus can be reached by bus or by subway (see directions below). A second-class ticket costs around 40 EUR.

Directions to the UN Campus and WCCB
By bus
From Bonn Central Station: Take bus number 610 or 611 (direction Heiderhof) at the bus terminal opposite the main train station. Get off at stop "Deutsche Welle".
From Bad Godesberg: Take bus number 610 or 611 (direction Bonn Hbf) at stop "Rheinallee" next to the train station.
Get off at stop "Deutsche Welle". Walk down to Platz der Vereinten Nationen (towards the Rhine river) for about two minutes. The main entrance pavilion of the UN Campus is located in the middle of the intersection of Platz der Vereinten Nationen, Heussallee and Kurt-Schumacher-Strasse. The cost of a one-way ticket is approx. 3 EUR.
By subway
From Bonn Central Station: Take subway ("U-Bahn") line 16, 63 or 66 (direction Bad Godesberg/Koenigswinter).
From Bad Godesberg: Take subway ("U-Bahn") line 16 or 63 (direction Bonn Hbf, Tannenbusch orCologne).
Alight at the stop "Heussallee" and follow the signs "Deutsche Welle/UN Campus". When you reach the street go straight ahead until you reach the main entrance pavilion of the UN Campus. The distance from the subway station is about 250 metres. The cost of a one-way ticket is approx. 3 EUR.
By taxi
The fare for a taxi ride to the UN Campus (Platz der Vereinten Nationen 1) or WCCB (Platz der Vereinten Nationen 2) from Bonn city centre, Bonn Central Station or Bad Godesberg is around 10 EUR. The central phone number for Bonn taxis is +49 228 555 555.
Visa
