The Subsidiary Body for Implementation, at its twenty-fifth session, invited Parties to the Convention that are also Parties to the Kyoto Protocol to submit to the secretariat, by 31 January 2007, their views on an approach to be taken by the Executive Secretary as regards the collection of fees from users of the international transaction log (ITL) with a view to the ITL becoming selfsustaining as soon as possible (FCCC/SBI/2006/28, paragraph 118). The secretariat has received five such submissions. In accordance with the procedure for miscellaneous documents, these submissions are reproduced∗ in the language in which they were received and without formal editing.
