The Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice, at its twenty-seventh session, invited Parties to submit to the secretariat, by 15 March 2008, their views on possible future work on scientific, technical and socio-economic aspects of mitigation of climate change (FCCC/SBSTA/2007/16, para. 111). The secretariat has received seven such submissions.
