National Statements delivered during High-Level Segment (HLS) at COP 30

The High-Level Segment of COP 30/CMP 20/CMA 7 will be held on Monday, 17 and Tuesday, 18 November 2025 and will hear National statements from those Parties and representatives of groups who have registered and confirmed their wish to deliver a national or group statement.
 
Opening of the Conference 
 
The formal opening of the High-Level Segment will be held on Monday, 17 November 2025 and in Plenary Amazonas and will begin at 10.00. It will be attended by His Excellency Mr.  Geraldo Alckmin, Vice President of the Federative Republic of Brazil, , Her Excellency Ms.  Annalena Baerbock, President of the UN General Assembly, His Excellency Ambassador André Corrêa do Lago, President of COP 30/CMP 20/CMA 7 and the Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, Mr. Simon Stiell.
 
Following the formal opening of the High level segment, the conference will begin hearing National statements and statements on behalf of Groups. Upon conclusion of national statements on 18 November, the High-Level Segment will hear statements from intergovernmental organizations and groups of non-governmental organizations admitted by the Conference of the Parties.
