Abstract

In a communication to the secretariat dated 18 September 2009, the Government of Kazakhstan made a request to include an item on the provisional agenda of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (CMP) at its fifth session. In accordance with rule 12 of the draft rules of procedure being applied, and in agreement with the President, this item is included in the supplementary provisional agenda below as item 12
